The IPCCL Yoga group provides a social and safe environment to meet as a mutual support group. Unless you tell us otherwise we will assume that you have little or no experience of Yoga and you are interested and curious to explore if it can help you as well as meet fellow members.

IPCCL Yoga  is especially designed for all ages. Some people start in their 50s, 60s 70s and 80s. It is never too late or early to start practising Yoga. IPCCL Yoga  is customised to meet the needs of your body. You do not even need to sit cross-legged if you do not want to. If you can breathe you can practice Yoga. Like any other exercise system, Yoga is not a one off programme and requires regular practice. Yoga is about uniting the body, the mind, the feelings and emotions in harmony and creating a greater sense of wholeness with oneself and surroundings.

The focus of the IPCCL  programme is to achieve this by working with the body through postures and conscious breathing as well as experiencing inner peace through meditation. We will emphasise simplicity and effectiveness of the postures on your overall wellbeing. We explain all aspects clearly and there is ample time to seek clarification. Our intention and promise is to help you explore ways to extend your health span, to remain healthy for as long as possible and reduce pain and medical expenses.

We will explore: ·

Gentle Yoga postures for health maintenance and restoration. ·                                                         Top tips for safe practice. ·                                                                                                           Restorative Yoga for special health situations ·                                                                                   How to use props safely to enhance your Yoga experience.

Our tutors, Anne Hill and Neelam Taneja, between them have over 50 years of teaching experience in Yoga and Meditation for all age groups and health conditions.
